It was Rough Cut of old on Friday night with Mike Burke on pedal steel replacing the ill Robyn Farrell.
Mark Woolrich had laryngitis which left all the singing to Yorkie and Tony Patricks on drums. Neil Hobbs sang along to most of the songs but he hasn’t graduated to a microphone yet.
Despite all their problems they presented a great night of country music and kept the crowd on the dance floor all night.
Love Rough Cut and was disappointed Robyn was not there but sorry to hear she was ill, as for Mark his guitar playing made up for his Laryngitis and Yorkie and Tony did a fantastic job. Rough Cut are a fantastic band and always great to dance to. A Special Tribute song at the end of the night to a long time Patron who is ill was a beautiful gesture by the band. Hopefully it won’t be too long before they are back.
